Remote New Grad Software Engineer

Description:

• The Software Engineer New Grad will design, develop, deploy, and operate software solutions to enable real-time, low latency capabilities for next-generation communications at Twilio.
• Responsibilities include looking for areas of improvement, balancing tech debt and feature development, performing peer code reviews, building scalable infrastructure solutions, implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery on managed AWS services, developing monitoring and alerting solutions, and collaborating with the team to tackle complex problems in distributed computing.
• The role involves working in a small, high-impact, diverse team, bringing expertise to empower the team, and internalizing good habits for high-end engineering excellence.

Requirements:

• Working towards or having earned a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Keen interest in software development with side projects and involvement in the open-source community.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, hunger for learning new technologies, and knowledge in common programming languages like Java, Python, or Go.
• Curiosity to contribute to high-scale, mission-critical cloud-based production systems and solid communication skills in English.
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills, along with conflict resolution abilities.
