Remote PHP Software Developer

Description:

• Join our agile team and contribute to developing and maintaining the GetResponse platform as a PHP Software Developer.
• GetResponse is a SaaS company recognized for its industry-leading email marketing and marketing automation software, serving over 350,000 SMBs and 1,000+ enterprise customers since 1998.
• The team consists of 350+ individuals working in distributed locations, promoting a global, remote-friendly, and multicultural environment.
• Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining GetResponse applications and integrations with other software, striving for clean and high-quality code, monitoring and optimizing applications, participating in code reviews, planning and conducting unit tests, estimating tasks, creating and updating documentation, improving skills and qualifications, and participating in the Developers Guild.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 2 years of commercial experience as a PHP developer.
• Commercial experience with RESTful API is required.
• A good knowledge of web application characteristics and environment (HTTP protocol, cookies, session, etc.) is necessary.
• An excellent understanding of PHP8 is essential.
• Knowledge of clean code principles (SOLID, GoF design patterns) is required.
• Candidates should have a good knowledge of relational databases, specifically MySQL.
• Experience with teamwork using Git is necessary.
• Practical knowledge of Docker is required.
• Familiarity with security aspects of web applications (OWASP Top 10) is essential.
• Acquaintance with CI/CD practices is required.
• Experience with unit and integration testing is necessary.
• A good command of English (minimum B2) and excellent command of Polish is required.
