Remote Platform Engineering Security Engineer

Description:

• The Platform Engineering Security Engineer position at Constructor is focused on monitoring and improving security, developing guardrails for safe system deployment, and enhancing the security posture of AWS infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include configuring AWS services for system security, reviewing and enhancing production security architecture, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, advising engineering teams on secure system development, maintaining security monitoring and alerts, responding to security incidents, and assisting with security audits.
• The role involves collaborating with the CISO, platform engineering team, and software engineers to prioritize security enhancements and maintain a secure environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a security professional and hardening infrastructure in Amazon Web Services.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining security platforms, SIEMs, and monitoring systems.
• Previous work experience in a high-traffic website environment with robust systems.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies, enjoy learning, and effectively communicate with others.
• Strong independent work ethic and willingness to assist colleagues.
