Description:

  • Token.com is seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer to tackle complex technical tasks and resolve tech debt.
  • The role involves being a leading figure within the Mobile Chapter, setting standards, good practices, and coding conventions.

  • The position is open to both permanent employees and contractors, with flexibility based on experience and preferences.
  • The interview process includes a screening call, hiring manager interview, technical interview, final chat with the CEO, and an offer, all aimed to be completed within 3 weeks.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing Mobile Apps is required.
  • Strong expertise in React Native and TypeScript is essential.
  • A proven record in performance optimization of apps is necessary.
  • Candidates must have strong experience in solving complicated technical problems in a clean and scalable manner.
  • Experience working closely with Product Managers and Designers to enhance delivery efficiency is required.
  • A track record of working in fast-paced, dynamic environments is expected.
  • Experience in Social Media related apps, such as Video Rendering, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and optimize high-performance mobile solutions is needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability are crucial.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in mentoring engineering teams and leading technical initiatives are required.
  • Effective communication skills to provide accurate updates and estimations to stakeholders are necessary.
  • The ability to lead projects from conception to completion is essential.
  • Familiarity with and interest in the world of Web3 is a plus.
