Remote Principal Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Description:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of a new mobile application to ensure quality, performance, and user experience standards are met.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product vision, roadmaps, and technical strategies.
• Build Native and Hybrid mobile applications using the latest technology and techniques.
• Advocate for best practices in mobile development, including Agile methodologies, code reviews, continuous integration (CI), and test-driven development (TDD).
• Mentor and guide a team of mobile developers to foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in mobile development to incorporate innovative features into the product.
• Lead by example, contributing code, conducting code reviews, and addressing technical challenges.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in mobile application development with a successful track record of leading launches for moderate to complex product use-cases.
• Demonstrated experience in at least two major product launches, detailing your role, challenges faced, and how they were overcome.
• Expertise in React Native, JavaScript, and mobile app development ecosystem for iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in React Native, Swift or Kotlin/Java Native development, RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and backend integration.
• Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Advanced understanding of state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or similar.
• Ability to implement best practices for mobile app development, including performance optimization, security, and user experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to inspire and mentor team members.
• Portfolio of released applications on the App Stores.
