Description:

  • Join a high-performance cryptography startup that is accelerating the ZK revolution by supporting web3 networks with reliable and cost-efficient proof generation.
  • As a Staff or Principal Rust Engineer, you will work closely with other engineers across the stack to productize the binary field proof system.
  • Your responsibilities will include orchestrating distributed proving tasks over an FPGA server cluster and collaborating with cryptography engineers on library APIs.
  • You will integrate the stack with peer-to-peer blockchain networks and perform performance profiling of open source code bases.
  • Being a self-starter is essential, as you will face a variety of challenges that need to be tackled.
  • Your work will have a direct impact on the company's growth and success.
  • At the Staff and Principal level, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide engineers across the team, providing leadership in Rust development practices, code reviews, and architecture.

Requirements:

  • You must have significant professional experience with Rust.
  • Experience with performance tuning or optimization is required.
  • You should have experience implementing high-performance software or distributed systems.
  • A solid understanding of computer architecture and configuration is necessary.
  • You must be able to think across layers of abstractions.
  • An understanding of technology tradeoffs and a pragmatic approach to problem solving is essential.
  • You should be capable of mentoring and guiding engineers across the team, providing leadership in Rust development practices, code reviews, and architecture.
