Remote Principle Software Engineer

Description:

• The Principal Software Engineer position at Accruent involves leading the technological advancement of the company by spearheading new initiatives, collaborating with architects, and mentoring a team of software engineers.
• Responsibilities include being a technical mentor for the team, influencing the software development lifecycle, partnering in project planning, collaborating with the Architecture team, assisting in release planning and code reviews, refining software quality, staying updated on industry developments, establishing coding standards, providing mentorship to junior engineers, optimizing product development processes, applying data mining techniques, and embodying Accruent's values.
• The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, experience in software development, expertise in technologies like C#, React, JavaScript, SQL Server, and cloud-native architectures, proficiency in TDD, RESTful APIs, responsive design, Microsoft Azure, SQL databases, message queuing services, Docker containerization, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and excellent communication in English are essential for this position.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Experience in software development with a focus on delivering scalable web-based and data-driven software products.
• Expertise in technologies such as C#, React, JavaScript, SQL Server, Cloud-native architectures, and modern full-stack frameworks.
• Strong understanding and experience with Test Driven Development, CI/CD, and modern design patterns.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, responsive design, and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, SQL database design, Docker containerization, and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Leadership experience guiding technical teams and projects.
• Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills.
