Description:

RYZ Labs is seeking a Back End Engineer responsible for building consumer applications using the latest technologies and best practices.
The role involves technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives, and developing best practices.
The engineer will demonstrate cross-functional resource interaction to accomplish goals.
The position is remote and part of a full-time contract.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional non-internship programming experience with Python.
Experience using Flask or FastAPI is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience) is necessary.
Professional experience in software design and implementation is essential.
Candidates should have experience building dynamic web applications and the APIs that power them.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations are preferred.
The ability to work independently with little supervision and successfully resolve ambiguity is important.
A willingness to learn and be open-minded to new ideas and different opinions is desired.
Well-rounded engineering skills, including full-stack development experience (web + services), are preferred.
Experience with architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new systems is a plus.
Strong data-oriented skills with knowledge of Core Data and data structures are required.
Prior use of AWS technologies at scale in a production environment is preferred.
