Remote Python Engineer

Description:

• RYZ Labs is seeking a Python Engineer to assist in building new products from the ground up.
• The role involves developing and maintaining robust, distributed backend services using Python.
• Responsibilities include managing and deploying applications on AWS, scaling and optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost.
• The engineer will design, implement, and optimize database schemas and develop RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
• Ensuring application and data security best practices, including implementing authentication, authorization, and data encryption, is a key responsibility.
• The position requires writing and maintaining unit and integration tests, as well as monitoring and improving application performance.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Python, specifically with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, gunicorn, and nginx.
• Experience with AWS is required.
• Proficiency in Ansible and MySQL is necessary.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills are a must.
