Description:
Gorilla Logic is seeking a Senior Node Full-Stack Engineer to join their team and work on building and maintaining a web application for a client.
This position is remote and can be based in Colombia or Costa Rica.
The role requires extensive backend and web development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, and a modern web framework such as Vue, React, or Angular.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teammates and will be evaluated on their critical thinking, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Requirements:
Candidates must have an upper intermediate to advanced level of English.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
A minimum of 3 years of web development experience is necessary.
At least 1 year of backend development experience using Node is required.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of web development experience using React.
A deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery is essential.
Experience with a modern JavaScript framework like React/Redux, Angular, or Vue is required.
A good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX is necessary.
Experience with server-side CSS preprocessors such as LESS and Sass is required.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies is essential.
Candidates must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills are necessary to interact with Agile team members.
