Description:

The position is for a Python Developer focused on APIs and Integration, available as either freelance or full-time.
The role is remote, targeting candidates in the EMEA region, specifically within the CET time zone (plus or minus 2 hours).

Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs, integrating third-party APIs and services, and working with JSON and structured data formats.
The developer will design scalable and flexible data models and schemas, collaborate with team members on architecture and design decisions, and debug, test, and improve the existing codebase.
Ensuring code quality through documentation and version control (Git) is essential, as is participation in planning and review meetings.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong Python skills, ideally with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
Experience with RESTful API development and integration is required, including an understanding of common pitfalls.
A solid understanding of data modeling and schema design is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable working with JSON and less common external API services.
Some familiarity with LLM integration, such as OpenAI, Gemini, or Hugging Face APIs, is preferred.
Familiarity with GitHub and one or more popular Git workflows is required.
Good debugging skills and a willingness to build on top of existing code are essential.
Clear and proactive communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to collaborate well with others.
Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
