Description:

The company is seeking a Rust Engineer with extensive trading experience to join their team.
The ideal candidate should be willing to learn and become proficient in Rust, although candidates with a C++/C background are also welcome.
The role involves supporting the Options HFT engineering team and driving continuous improvements in the trading infrastructure.
The position is open to candidates in Europe or the USA time zone.
Responsibilities include specializing in low latency option HFT trading and collaborating effectively within a team.
The company values problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to system design.

Requirements:

Candidates must have previous experience working in a trading environment.
Strong experience with either Rust and/or C/C++ is required.
A willingness to become an expert in Rust is essential if not already proficient.
Understanding of algorithmic option trading is preferred but not essential.
Experience working with SQL databases is necessary.
Familiarity with functional and component testing is required.
Previous experience with crypto exchange connectivity and/or FPGA technologies is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of gRPC and interaction with Node.js is also strongly preferred.
Experience in High Frequency Options Trading systems and low-latency options experience are not essential but are advantageous.
Candidates should possess problem-solving skills, outside-the-box thinking, and effective communication abilities.
