Description:
- Join an agile distributed team of front-end, back-end, and full-stack developers working on experiences for customers to interact with energy products and services
- Responsible for productionising, testing, and developing robust, scalable, and secure Scala-based applications
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and DevOps engineers to define project requirements and ensure seamless deployment
- Enjoy autonomy in designing and building new experiences under the supervision of a Software Engineering Manager
- Involved in architecture definition, writing documentation, diagnosing and fixing defects, and improving performances
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Scala development experience using Typelevel tech stack (cats, cats-effect, http4s, doobie)
- Experience with microservices, cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Provider), Helm, Terraform, and event-driven architecture using Kafka
- Familiarity with PostgresDB, BigQuery, Test Driven Development, and agile methodologies
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
