Description:

  • The Senior AI Platform Engineer at Axon is responsible for accelerating the adoption and integration of AI technologies, including GPT and Large Language Models (LLMs), within the organization.
  • The engineer will develop patterns for deploying GPT actions and applications, create connectors to enhance GPT technology integration, and evaluate various AI services.
  • They will train development teams on AI best practices, provide guidance on prompt engineering, and disseminate training materials for effective use of GPT technologies.
  • Providing architectural recommendations for GPT projects, collaborating with solution architects, and designing scalable solutions are key responsibilities.
  • The engineer will identify opportunities to leverage GPT technologies for high-value solutions, stay updated on advancements in GPT, and work closely with cross-functional teams for successful project implementations.
  • Managing and securing GPT API keys, implementing monitoring processes, and preventing unauthorized access are crucial aspects of the role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, Javascript, React, or similar.
  • Experience in deploying and managing GPT or similar AI technologies in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of platform management and security best practices.
  • Excellent training and communication skills to explain complex concepts effectively.
  • Ability to provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
  • Problem-solving skills and collaborative teamwork abilities.
