Description:

  • As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Parsley Health, you will manage and architect ETL, warehouse, and data delivery/visibility.
  • You will craft critical retrospective reports for various teams including Ops, Clinical, Product, Finance, and MX.
  • Providing actionable insights to support business and clinical decisions will be a key part of your role.
  • Engage with functional peers to align data products with core business strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder groups to define requirements, design BI solutions, and implement applications following best practices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading into the data warehouse.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for business intelligence and analytics purposes.
  • Optimize data processing workflows for performance and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain data quality monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in data and analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with data modeling techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery) and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of containerization, CI tooling, testing frameworks, and code quality tools.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-directed learning in data tooling and solutions.
