Description:
Lime, the world's largest shared electric vehicle company, is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join their team in Vancouver, BC.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and building the technology that powers Lime's fleet of connected vehicles.
Responsibilities include working on backend systems to process requests from IoT devices and consumer-facing apps, enhancing operational tools for the distributed workforce, and collaborating with a talented team of engineers, data scientists, designers, and PMs.
The role involves solving technical problems, leading new product initiatives, mentoring other engineers, and contributing to the overall engineering culture at Lime.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of software development experience, strong leadership in mobile development, experience with mobile testing frameworks, and a passion for Lime's mission of transforming urban transportation.
Requirements:
6+ years of industry professional software development experience with a track record of building impactful products or systems.
Strong background and proven leadership in mobile development.
Ability to multitask across functions and experience with mobile testing frameworks and services.
Bonus points for iOS development experience.
Passion for Lime's mission and micro-mobility, with a desire to see cities become more people-centric and less polluted.
