Description:
The Senior Application Customer Support Engineer will provide remote support to clients for the operation and maintenance of EXUS installations.
The role involves working in shifts and some weekends due to the global presence of the company.
Responsibilities include offering L3 technical application support, investigating incidents, bugs, and interruptions, and implementing changes or workarounds to ensure continuous application use.
Configuration of the application through SQL Queries and code manipulation to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
Acting as an escalation point for resolving application-based issues and creating documentation for processes and procedures.
Performing queries in Postgres, analyzing service and server logs, and improving configurations at new production sites.
Incident registration and management through EXUS’ Helpdesk software and communication with clients.
Requirements:
A University Degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline is required.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience is necessary.
Experience in Collections/Banking systems is highly appreciated.
Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle Databases, with DBA skills being essential.
Customer-focused mentality with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills in English are required.
Discipline in following up on all customer requests is expected.
