As a Senior Back End Engineer, you will significantly impact the speed, scalability, and flexibility of the app and API service.
You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship AI-powered features and enhance existing ones.
The role involves addressing challenges such as real-time messaging for 500,000 concurrent users, achieving high performance with API responses in the 10ms range, and designing AI Agents and RAG pipelines.
You will work with distributed databases for the Data Platform that stores user engagement data.

Requirements:

You must have at least 6 years of experience as a backend developer.
Experience with high-traffic and high-performance applications is required.
A curious developer who experiments with AI and AI agents daily is preferred.
Must-have experience includes TypeScript, Node.js, TDD, BDD, or ATDD, REST APIs, and MongoDB or AWS DocumentDB.
Nice-to-have experience includes knowledge of statically typed languages (e.g., Java, C#, Go), object-oriented and functional programming, Golang, AWS, SQL, and React.
