Remote Senior Backend Data Developer

Description:

Atimi is seeking a senior backend software developer to work remotely with EST working hours, open to candidates from all Canadian provinces.
The role involves proactive collaboration in the project team, ensuring code quality and governance, planning, estimating, and contributing to architecture, coding, and development.
Responsibilities include refactoring and continuous improvements of codebases, communication of technical decisions to the global team, involvement in deployment and operation of software, and ensuring professionalism in conduct.
The position requires strong Java development experience (8+ years), AWS cloud environment experience (6+ years), Amazon Redshift data warehouse experience (4+ years), SQL and NoSQL experience (4+ years), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and scalable software services.
Strong OOD skills, experience working with clients to define requirements, and proficiency in English (written and verbal) are essential.

Strong English skills (written and verbal)
Preferred qualifications include Python experience, experience with DDD, and experience with TDD
