RYZ Labs is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join their team in developing and maintaining high-performance applications.
This role will focus on building scalable, robust backend systems using TypeScript, JavaScript, and AWS.
The candidate will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs to support internal applications.
The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
The developer will employ best coding, testing, and deployment practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing performance in a production environment.
The candidate will contribute to system architecture, design patterns, and best practices to promote high-quality, maintainable code.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, with expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
Proven experience working with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS) in a production environment is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience) is necessary.
A solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and best practices in backend development is essential.
Hands-on experience with API design and development for web applications is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges are preferred.
Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities.
Openness to learning and adapting to new ideas while knowing when to analyze and make decisions is important.
Experience with full-stack development is a plus, and any projects showcasing skills are welcomed.
Knowledge of architecture, design patterns, and scaling techniques for building robust applications is beneficial.
Strong data-oriented skills, with an understanding of database design and data structures, are preferred.
