Remote Senior Backend Engineer, Core Infrastructure

Description:

• The Senior Backend Engineer, Core Infrastructure position at Webflow involves creating and testing reliable cloud infrastructure services to support a range of products.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in a customer-facing environment with minimal downtime.
• Hands-on experience in building and scaling multi-region cloud environments on AWS or GCP is required.
• Familiarity with container-centric architectures using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or Mesos is essential.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform or Pulumi is necessary.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must.
• Enthusiasm for mentoring and sponsoring less-experienced engineers is desired.
