Description:
- Babylon is seeking a versatile Senior Backend Engineer to work on developing a new public Cosmos-SDK PoS blockchain and inter-chain protocols.
- Responsibilities include developing and deploying highly scalable features optimized for performance in decentralized systems, conducting code reviews focusing on security and reliability, maintaining backend services, collaborating with a skilled team, and designing medium to large-scale distributed systems leveraging blockchain technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years using Go.
- Experience in designing and implementing microservice architectures in AWS.
- Track record of leading development processes from design to deployment, understanding of distributed systems, CI/CD practices, monitoring tools, and system design principles.
- Fluent in English, with mentoring and leadership skills, and preferred experience in web3 and blockchain technologies.
