The company was founded in 2014 and is a trailblazer in the Residential Real Estate industry, aiming to revolutionize the home-buying and selling process.
The Senior Backend Engineer - Java will join the R&D team at Real Broker LLC and work remotely from India.
The work schedule is from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST.
The role involves developing and maintaining Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing database schemas, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring code quality, managing cloud dashboards, and implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD).
The engineer will also participate in API builds and deployments and engage in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in Java development, focusing on Spring Boot and Hibernate, is necessary.
Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with the Java family of technologies is essential.
Strong experience in Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks is required.
Expertise in SQL and experience with relational databases is mandatory.
Understanding of ORM frameworks like Hibernate and Spring DAO is needed.
Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, concurrency, and multi-threading is important.
Experience with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EKS) is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and API builds and deployments is required.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) frameworks is a plus.
A Java certification is highly desirable.
