The Phoenix team focuses on the Q&A module within the Ideals Virtual Data Room product, designed for Enterprise customers to enhance project management and communication.
The Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) will work remotely from Ukraine or Poland, developing new features, improving existing services, and supporting production environments.
The role involves collaboration with engineering, product, DevOps, and customer support teams, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities include participating in all phases of the SDLC, ensuring high-quality solutions, contributing to team efforts, driving modern software engineering practices, supporting hiring activities, and engaging in mentorship.
Requirements:
A product-focused approach with a strong sense of ownership for end-to-end development.
Over 6 years of commercial experience in backend development using .NET Framework 4.7, ASP.NET Web API, and IIS.
Solid understanding of the SDLC and software design and architecture principles.
Expertise in API design principles, including REST and RPC, with security considerations.
Experience with relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, with AWS being preferred.
Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests, ensuring best practices for testing are integrated into development.
Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, with the ability to create and maintain Helm charts.
B2 level proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
