The Senior Backend Engineer will enhance operations by focusing on Trust and Safety, internal tooling, reporting, and data integration.
This role is part of the SRE team and aims to optimize processes that support operations and drive efficiency.
The engineering team values equal contributions, autonomy in work, and has automated CI/CD processes.
Responsibilities include integrating data tools, implementing fraud detection tools, designing internal tools, maintaining documentation, collaborating with teams, and improving engineering standards.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Laravel.
Proficiency in REST API design and integrating multiple services, along with familiarity with MySQL, is required.
Experience in deploying code at scale in production environments with high fault tolerance is necessary.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills focused on optimizing internal processes and systems are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective collaboration across teams.
Experience managing AWS Infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is beneficial.
Experience in a product-led growth company is also beneficial.
