Remote Senior Backend Engineer, Operations

• The Senior Backend Engineer will enhance operations by focusing on Trust and Safety, internal tooling, reporting, and data integration.

• Responsibilities include integrating data tools, implementing fraud detection tools, designing internal tools, maintaining documentation, collaborating with teams, and improving engineering standards.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 6+ years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Laravel.
• Proficiency in REST API design and integrating multiple services, along with familiarity with MySQL, is required.
• Experience in deploying code at scale in production environments with high fault tolerance is necessary.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills focused on optimizing internal processes and systems are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective collaboration across teams.
• Experience managing AWS Infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is beneficial.
• Experience in a product-led growth company is also beneficial.
