Description:

Wellhub is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer for the Anti-fraud team in Brazil, which is part of the General Platform Services (GPS) Focus Area.
The role involves identifying, preventing, and removing fraudulent actors from Wellhub.
Responsibilities include discussing the design and building an anti-fraud system, collaborating with multiple teams and data scientists to identify fraud vectors, and creating systems that allow data scientists to develop rules and machine learning models to prevent fraud.
The work will directly impact the health of Wellhub's marketplace, finances, and the company's overall success.

Requirements:

Candidates must have solid experience in the design and implementation of at least one medium-to-large-sized system in any programming language.
The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment is essential.
Candidates should be able to present their work in meetings in English or Portuguese.
Extensive experience with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Node.js, or Go is required, with a preference for Go as the team uses it.
Experience in anti-fraud or anti-abuse systems will be considered a plus.
Prior experience in designing and implementing a medium/large-sized system is a mandatory requirement.
