Description:

  • Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer for their Partner Content team in Brazil.
  • The CODE team focuses on making wellbeing universal by enhancing the end-user experience through exclusive benefits and a vast partner network.
  • The Partner Content Squad's mission is to exceed subscribers' expectations by managing and updating partnership information.
  • Responsibilities include working in an agile full-stack engineering team, defining system architecture, enhancing existing systems, resolving incidents, mentoring developers, and following engineering and product KPIs.
  • The role involves using cutting-edge technologies, promoting wellbeing in the workplace, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams globally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in designing and developing modern web applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Kotlin, or Golang (Golang and Kotlin are a plus).
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL and Redis.
  • Strong architecture knowledge including event-driven architectures and serverless.
  • Willingness to learn, strong communication skills, belief in automation, and proficiency in English.
