Remote Senior Backend/DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The company Oppizi is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Backend/DevOps Engineer to join their Tech Team.
• This is a full-time remote position open to candidates in Singapore/India or within the UTC+8 and UTC+5:30 time zone countries.
• The team consists of 12 Software Engineers, 3 AQA Engineers, 6 MQA Engineers, QA Lead, 2 UI/UX Designers, 3 Product Managers, Head of Product, and CTO.
• The team is split between 4 areas: Oppizi Ads (PMF team), Expansion, Core, and Wild Duck.
• The role involves working on challenging projects to innovate the platform and benefit customers and partners.
• Responsibilities include using modern technologies, collaborating with teams, building testable code, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical guidance.
• The position offers the opportunity to work with different extensive environments, including Platform, API, and Mobile App.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ECMAScript 6 standards.
• 8+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.
• Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and other infrastructure-related technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and understanding of technical concepts.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, TDD principles, and microservice architecture.
• Understanding of clean architecture principles, GIT version control system, and databases like MongoDB and MySQL.
• At least an Upper Intermediate level of English.
• Experience with TypeScript and ability to learn new tools and languages efficiently.
• Nice-to-have requirements include experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, and Python.
