Syndica is creating the Cloud of Web3, providing enterprise-grade RPC infrastructure and developer tools for the Solana ecosystem.
The Senior Blockchain Data Researcher will work remotely and is expected to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The role requires a talented researcher with over 2 years of experience in blockchain data analysis, focusing on deriving innovative insights.
Candidates must have advanced knowledge of SQL, proficiency in a scripting or statistical computing language like Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
The researcher will lead and manage a research pipeline across multiple web3 domains, consistently meeting deadlines and incorporating feedback from the Head of Research.
Key responsibilities include performing research on various topics related to blockchain performance, NFT marketplaces, DeFi protocols, and more, while leveraging tools like Flipside and Dune for data collection.
Success in this role is defined by becoming a trusted senior researcher within three months, delivering impactful research within six months, and establishing a reliable delivery cadence within twelve months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in blockchain data analysis with a focus on innovative insights.
Advanced knowledge of SQL, including indexes, subqueries, and basic profiling, is required.
Proficiency in at least one scripting or statistical computing language, such as Python or R, along with relevant data analytics packages like Pandas and matplotlib, is necessary.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and responsibilities.
Comfort in engaging with developer communities on platforms like Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and blockchain research forums is required.
Standout experience includes team leadership, mentoring junior analysts, and a strong understanding of Solana, EVM, and related technical domains.
