Octopus by RTG is seeking a Senior Blockchain Developer to work remotely on exciting AI projects with a key partner in Riyadh, KSA.
The role involves designing and developing secure, scalable blockchain applications such as e-wallets, crypto wallets, DeFi protocols, and tokenization platforms.
The developer will work with blockchain frameworks like Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon to build decentralized applications tailored to financial use cases.
Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient smart contracts, optimizing performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability of blockchain systems.
The position requires evaluating and applying emerging blockchain technologies to meet business needs and collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
The developer will mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
Ensuring adherence to blockchain security best practices and staying informed of relevant regulations in the fintech/blockchain space is essential.

Requirements:

Proven track record of leadership roles in technology, focusing on blockchain, decentralized systems, and Web3 solutions is required.
Expertise in building and managing fintech solutions, including e-wallets, crypto wallets, tokenization platforms, and DeFi applications is necessary.
A deep understanding of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and tokenomics is essential.
Strong knowledge of financial systems and regulations is required.
Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills are necessary for this role.
The ability to foster collaboration between technical and business teams is important.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
