Remote Senior Contributor Success Fullstack Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Contributor Success Fullstack Engineer at GitLab will focus on driving contribution efficiency efforts and results within the community.
• Responsibilities include owning Engineering Contributor Success project plans, coaching and leading community contributors, providing guidance on technical and non-technical aspects, tracking contributions, proposing metrics for efficiency, and nominating impactful contributors for recognition.
• The role involves being a permanent member of GitLab MR Coaches, proficient in MR Coach specialties, driving team stand-up and agile processes, advocating for improvements based on community feedback, and participating in Contributor Success events.
• The position may require travel to customers for training purposes.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, self-managing, and have excellent organizational skills with a focus on quality.
• Fluent in using GitLab, with at least 5 years of experience in developing in Ruby and Javascript.
• Extensive experience with Git, source control, and the Open Source community.
• A track record of contributing to well-known Open Source projects and customer interactions.
• A computer science education or equivalent experience is required.
• Proficiency in the English language with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must share GitLab's values and work in accordance with those values.
