Turing is seeking a Senior Counsel, Product, AI & Privacy to develop legal frameworks for an AI-driven future.
This role is critical for supporting Turing's mission to unleash human potential through AI.
The Senior Counsel will work closely with engineering and product leaders from top tech companies.
Responsibilities include leading the development of Turing's Privacy Program and ensuring compliance with privacy standards globally.
The role involves establishing links between various teams to embed privacy principles into products and client projects.
The Senior Counsel will drive legal strategy for product development, focusing on AI/ML applications and regulatory compliance.
They will support the development of privacy frameworks that meet client expectations and global regulations.
The position requires developing legal solutions that balance innovation with compliance across various domains.
The Senior Counsel will partner with Sales and Business Development to structure commercial agreements addressing privacy and data protection risks.
They will serve as a subject matter expert on global privacy laws and guide product and engineering teams on privacy requirements.
The role includes designing scalable legal frameworks to support rapid product innovation while maintaining compliance.

Requirements:

A J.D. with 8+ years of legal experience, focusing on privacy, data protection, and product counsel in technology companies is required.
Candidates must have deep expertise in US, EU, and UK privacy frameworks and experience in implementing compliance programs.
A strong background in product counseling for technology companies is essential.
The ability to navigate complex technology issues and provide practical solutions is necessary.
Experience in implementing privacy-by-design principles in product development is required.
A strategic mindset to balance innovation and compliance is important.
Active membership in a US State Bar is required.
Candidates should be self-starters with experience supporting remote teams.
