Description:

  • Kpler is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Revenue Operations team in Paris, with a full-time remote work option.
  • The role involves coordinating with the BI team and relevant product, engineering, and customer service teams to understand usage data capture and reporting needs.
  • The Senior Data Analyst will deliver high-quality BI reporting solutions using Snowflake and Looker.
  • Responsibilities include evaluating and optimizing existing data and dashboards, as well as adding new products to the insights portfolio.
  • The position requires transforming raw data into structured tables and meaningful insights using Python, SQL, and Looker.
  • The analyst will design and provide reports and dashboards to enhance business performance, processes, and product insights.
  • Integration of data from third-party tools into the BI reporting suite is also a key responsibility.
  • The role includes providing ad-hoc data support, analysis, and reporting consultancy, along with thorough testing of deliverables.
  • The analyst will support teams in self-service data analytics and contribute to the management and improvement of the BI technical environment.
  • Participation in BI and business meetings is expected, with ownership of relevant action points throughout the escalation process.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in high-growth startup, tech, or SaaS environments.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics is required.
  • Excellent experience using SQL for data extraction and scripting experience in Python for data processing is essential.
  • Proven expertise in building reports and BI analysis with tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is necessary.
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets are required.
  • Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to solving data problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure data integrity through structured monitoring and validation are crucial.
  • A bright, analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and think creatively about solutions is important.
  • Experience with Git, modern data warehousing techniques, and Snowflake is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience in machine learning is also a plus.
