Remote Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Data Analytics Engineer position at Thrasio involves working with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems by leveraging data, building scalable processes, and compelling visualizations.
• Responsibilities include partnering with business stakeholders to define and solve complex problems, providing clean transformed data for strategic business questions, questioning the status quo to drive efficiency, owning the design and development of scalable data solutions, and training business users to adopt data solutions.
• The role also requires contributing innovative ideas to shape a new team, developing expertise in the supported area, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualifications include 5+ years of work experience in SQL/Python, experience with data visualization/BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau, mentoring experience, familiarity with Star/Snowflake schemas, intellectual curiosity, strong organizational and communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of owning their work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to identify roadblocks, propose solutions, and drive towards resolution.
