The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain robust data systems that power predictive cybersecurity solutions.
Responsibilities include evolving data architecture, building scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, implementing BI tools, establishing data governance practices, providing mentorship, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on emerging data technologies.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience, ideally in the cybersecurity sector.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Airflow, Apache Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB is required for data ingestion, transformation, and real-time analytics.
Extensive experience in Azure or AWS focusing on data storage and scalable analytics environments is necessary.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is expected.
Significant experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, understanding their trade-offs and best-fit use cases, is essential.
Candidates should have experience architecting and optimizing data warehouses and be well-versed in ETL, ELT, SCD, OLAP, ROLAP, and MOLAP paradigms.
Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, Metabase) and strong data modeling skills for intuitive dashboards are required.
Experience leading or implementing best practices around data governance, lineage, and data privacy regulations is necessary.
Understanding of secure data sharing frameworks, encryption, and access control methods to meet compliance requirements is essential.
Candidates must be able to guide teams through complex data challenges and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate, MongoDB Certified Associate DBA, or Elastic Certified Engineer are preferred.
