Description:

• Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for their Data Solutions squad in Brazil.
• The role involves contributing to the data democratization mission by providing a scalable and reliable data platform.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing innovative data solutions, collaborating with teams, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring robust data architecture.
• The position requires expertise in data engineering, software engineering best practices, and experience in building in-house data solutions.
• The ideal candidate should be proficient in CDC, Flink, Spark, Airflow, Trino, Kubernetes, and have a strong understanding of data lakehouse design.
• Familiarity with data management tools and cloud-based infrastructure, particularly AWS stack, is preferred.

Requirements:

• Hands-on expertise in data engineering and architecture.
• Experience in building in-house solutions for data engineering patterns.
• Proficiency in CDC, Flink, Spark, Airflow, Trino, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of data lakehouse design and technical integration.
• Passion for data democratization and making data accessible across the organization.
• Familiarity with data management tools and MLOps frameworks.
• Previous experience in cloud-based infrastructure, preferably using AWS stack.
• Experience with scalable data processing and storage solutions is a plus.
