Description:

Recharge is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support innovative Direct-To-Consumer ecommerce brands by building AI-based analytic products.
The role involves providing actionable insights and creating data products for product and growth teams.
Responsibilities include preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling, driving hypotheses, applying statistics, and developing algorithms.
The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business questions and translate them into analyses or models.
The position requires performing analysis using tools like SQL and Python, and providing analytical thought leadership.
The data scientist will own project outcomes, covering problem definition, metrics development, data manipulation, visualization, and presentation to stakeholders.
The role involves developing solutions for ambiguous problems and effectively communicating insights to business stakeholders.
The candidate will also be responsible for writing and maintaining technical documentation for data models and analytics solutions.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding in Python, R, or SQL.
Preferred experience includes leveraging LLMs to address business challenges and familiarity with frameworks such as Langchain.
Experience in developing and operating within Snowflake is required.
The candidate should be an expert in translating data findings to broader audiences, including non-data stakeholders and executive leadership.
Preferred experience in dimensional modeling in dbt is a plus.
Experience working on advanced analytics models, such as machine learning, is required.
The candidate must demonstrate high self-sufficiency in tackling complex problems and navigate ambiguous technical and business requirements.
Payments and/or Ecommerce experience is preferred.
