  • The Senior Data Scientist will develop advanced analytics and machine learning models to proactively detect and mitigate security threats, optimize network performance, and generate actionable insights.
  • Responsibilities include developing and implementing machine learning models, analyzing complex datasets, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting experiments, building data pipelines, creating reports and visualizations, leading innovation, and mentoring junior data scientists.
  • This position is remote, allowing candidates to work from anywhere.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 to 5 years of proven industry experience in data science, focusing on cybersecurity or networking, is required.
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and network protocols is essential.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Python programming is required.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn is needed.
  • Candidates must be proficient in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and have experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or Neo4j.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, and Kafka is preferred.
  • Knowledge of workflow orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Kubeflow) and distributed search and analytics engines (e.g., Elasticsearch) is required.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure AI platform is required, with additional experience in AWS or GCP being preferable.
  • Candidates must have experience in MLOps, including deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models in production environments.
