Description:

  • Karbon, a global leader in practice management software for accounting firms, is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to join their remote team in the Philippines.
  • The role involves supporting other teams by providing infrastructure and tools for software production and service delivery.
  • Responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating software builds, developing cloud-based infrastructure, monitoring security and performance, and ensuring information security.
  • The position also involves coordinating compliance audits, managing access requests, and performing IT operations duties like monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and environment management.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure skills, and fundamentals such as Windows, Linux, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology practices, CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins and Azure DevOps, code repository management using Git, and automation using Powershell, Bash, and Groovy.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, CloudFormation, Terraform, Docker containerization, and managing machines in AWS and Azure.
  • Familiarity with High-Availability application architecture, Web application architecture, Microservice architecture, and deployment orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving approach, and ability to work well in a team.
  • Knowledge of MS .Net development stack, serverless application architecture, network security, and security compliance is a plus.
