Description:
Karbon, a global leader in practice management software for accounting firms, is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to join their remote team in the Philippines.
The role involves supporting other teams by providing infrastructure and tools for software production and service delivery.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating software builds, developing cloud-based infrastructure, monitoring security and performance, and ensuring information security.
The position also involves coordinating compliance audits, managing access requests, and performing IT operations duties like monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and environment management.
Requirements:
Deep understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure skills, and fundamentals such as Windows, Linux, DNS, and TCP/IP.
Knowledge of Agile methodology practices, CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins and Azure DevOps, code repository management using Git, and automation using Powershell, Bash, and Groovy.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, CloudFormation, Terraform, Docker containerization, and managing machines in AWS and Azure.
Familiarity with High-Availability application architecture, Web application architecture, Microservice architecture, and deployment orchestration with Kubernetes.
Strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving approach, and ability to work well in a team.
Knowledge of MS .Net development stack, serverless application architecture, network security, and security compliance is a plus.
