Description:

  • As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager for DevOps and play a crucial role in enabling engineering teams across the organization.
  • You will assist in executing platform-wide initiatives to modernize and scale Olo’s infrastructure footprint.
  • Your responsibilities will include acting as a technical leader and mentor to engineers, handling workload autonomously, contributing to architectural discussions, and leading large/complex projects.
  • You will collaborate with engineering teams to understand challenges, architect solutions, and solicit feedback to design platform products meeting customer needs.
  • Additionally, you will assess platform needs, define and implement platform-wide standards and best practices, support security and compliance requests, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, site reliability, or a similar role.
  • 1+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership role.
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and managing services within a mature production environment, including using containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ECR, ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Proficiency in code management, CI/CD toolsets, and writing code in modern programming languages.
  • Familiarity with modern monitoring tools, database technologies in a production setting, data streaming technologies, and security best practices and compliance processes.

  • Competitive compensation range of $125k-179k annually for a Senior I and $135k-195k annually for a Senior II, depending on experience and location.
