Description:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager for DevOps and play a crucial role in enabling engineering teams across the organization.
You will assist in executing platform-wide initiatives to modernize and scale Olo’s infrastructure footprint.
Your responsibilities will include acting as a technical leader and mentor to engineers, handling workload autonomously, contributing to architectural discussions, and leading large/complex projects.
You will collaborate with engineering teams to understand challenges, architect solutions, and solicit feedback to design platform products meeting customer needs.
Additionally, you will assess platform needs, define and implement platform-wide standards and best practices, support security and compliance requests, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, site reliability, or a similar role.
1+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership role.
Proficiency in designing, building, and managing services within a mature production environment, including using containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ECR, ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Proficiency in code management, CI/CD toolsets, and writing code in modern programming languages.
Familiarity with modern monitoring tools, database technologies in a production setting, data streaming technologies, and security best practices and compliance processes.

Competitive compensation range of $125k-179k annually for a Senior I and $135k-195k annually for a Senior II, depending on experience and location.
