Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Atropos Health is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support both internal teams and customers.
• The ideal candidate should be curious, a thoughtful communicator, detail-oriented, and proactive in taking on tasks.
• Responsibilities include automating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with engineers and other teams.
• The role requires effective communication with internal and external teams without using excessive technical jargon.
• The engineer will manage cloud computing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and continuously seek improvements in infrastructure and information security.

Requirements:

• The candidate must be proficient in reading and writing HCL (Terraform) to create production-ready modules.
• Experience in administration and troubleshooting of Linux, AWS, GCP, Docker, and Datadog is required.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and tools such as CI/CD, GitHub, and JFrog is necessary.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in a fully remote environment and effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and employees.
• Proficiency in writing shell scripts (bash) and familiarity with Python and boto3 is expected.
• Knowledge of SAML/OIDC and at least one Identity Provider (IdP) is required.
• The candidate should be comfortable with IP addressing and subnetting.
• The ability to follow and improve written documentation is essential, along with creating documentation for complex solutions.
• The candidate must proactively work within an information security compliance framework and encourage a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
