Description:

Figment is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Ethereum Staking Infrastructure team, responsible for managing and innovating Ethereum blockchain infrastructure with over $4 billion in assets.
The role involves combining DevOps practices and software development, focusing on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and Golang applications.
Responsibilities include implementing and operating scalable, secure cloud-based deployments, developing tools in Golang for automation and monitoring, managing infrastructure across AWS and GCP, automating deployment processes using Kubernetes, implementing security measures, and continuous improvement of infrastructure automation.
The position also involves articulating technical strategies, promoting best practices in cloud infrastructure, and mentoring junior engineers.

In-depth experience deploying on Kubernetes.
Software development experience with a solid understanding of programming languages like Golang and Python.
Expertise in deploying to cloud infrastructure such as AWS and GCP.
Experience managing highly available and secure environments at scale, including security tooling.
Proven expertise in Linux, particularly in networking and security best practices.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
Experience mentoring and guiding junior-level engineers.
