Biconomy empowers Web3 developers to build seamless, user-friendly dApps that work effortlessly across multiple blockchains.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will own the cloud and blockchain infrastructure powering the cross-chain protocol stack.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems supporting supertransaction flows, decentralized validator networks, and scalable off-chain compute infrastructure.
This is a 6-month full-time contract role, starting on or before May 31st, 2025, with the possibility of extension.
The role involves working across the entire Modular Execution Environment (MEE) infrastructure stack, including provisioning and optimizing globally distributed validator nodes and bundlers.
The engineer will set up and manage EVM-compatible L1 and L2 full nodes and indexers with high uptime.
The position requires building automated pipelines for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and recovery across multi-cloud environments.
The engineer will architect resilient, secure, and geo-redundant systems with minimal latency across a multi-region setup.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of cloud providers such as GCP and AWS, as well as container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker, is required.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language, including Python, Go, Bash, or JavaScript, is necessary.
Hands-on experience in setting up, maintaining, and optimizing EVM-compatible blockchain nodes is essential.
A deep understanding of system monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Cloudwatch is required.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi) and automation of deployments is necessary.
Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, including networking and storage, are required.
Candidates should have an understanding of security principles, infrastructure hardening, and access controls.
Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure or validator networks is preferred.
A collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving, globally distributed team is essential.
