Description:

RYZ Labs is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join a client team in the robotics industry.
This is a remote position available only for professionals based in Argentina or Uruguay, with a work schedule aligned to the EST time zone.
The role involves fostering a culture of continuous improvement by promoting and implementing best practices in DevOps.
Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and enforcing cloud infrastructure automation and security best practices.
The engineer will develop and manage cloud networking solutions in a multi-account, multi-region environment.
The position requires developing standards for building and deploying infrastructure resources using orchestration and configuration management tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terraform.
Managing key infrastructure components such as network policies, firewalls, secure remote access, security groups, secrets, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and storage is essential.
The engineer will implement a cloud governance framework and collaborate with the security team to implement a defense-in-depth strategy, incident response automation, and routine patch management.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a hands-on Infrastructure or DevOps engineering role.
Hands-on experience with public clouds such as GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure is required.
Experience with application load balancers such as F5, Nginx, or ALB is necessary.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform is essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitHub Actions is required.
Experience with infrastructure and application performance monitoring and analysis tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is needed.
Candidates should have experience with container management platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of LINUX and application frameworks is required.
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or JavaScript is a bonus.
Experience in developing application performance monitoring and analysis tools like Grafana and Prometheus is also beneficial.
