The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will play a crucial role in securing networks, operating systems, containers, pipelines, and code.
The position involves advising Infra Engineering and IT teams on security topics, maintaining a practical risk-based approach.
Responsibilities include automating security controls, hardening developer and IaC processes, and ensuring supply chain security.
The role requires organizing and performing penetration testing and collaborating with external parties.
The engineer will select tools and methods to improve the company's security stance, preferably using FOSS tooling.
Writing and enabling the adoption of company-wide security standards and guidelines is also part of the job.
Mentoring team members on security and IT infrastructure engineering is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must demonstrate a focus on outcomes rather than activities.
The ability to partner with multiple teams to tackle issues, clarify requirements, and communicate effectively is essential.
Comfort with a Linux-based tech stack, including managed VMs, SSH, VPNs, and firewalls, is required.
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, GitLab, ArgoCD, and image registries is necessary.
Familiarity with various cloud platforms, including Google Cloud and non-managed providers, is expected.
An understanding of blockchain technology and associated tooling, such as wallets, keys, RPC nodes, and indexers, is preferred.
Ideally, candidates should live within 2 hours of UTC+0, but exceptional candidates outside this timezone will also be considered.
