Description:

Rialtic is seeking an experienced software engineer to join their Engines team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Python packages that implement healthcare policies.
The role involves maintaining CI pipelines and templates in GitLab for engines, libraries, and reference data packages.
As a Senior Engineer, you will build engines in the current architecture, implement new designs, and create tools to support the internal Content team.
The position requires contributing to the development and maintenance of containerized applications in a modern, cloud-first stack.
Core responsibilities include peer reviewing code, participating in architecture specification reviews, collaborating with product management to refine user stories, and partnering with other teams to define and develop new functionalities.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer in a professional environment.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Python and Python applications, including dependency management and packaging tools, is required.
Extensive involvement in at least two software projects for over a year is necessary.
Experience with shell scripting, Git, and continuous integration workflows/pipelines is essential.
Proficiency in SQL or similar query tools/languages is required.
Candidates should have experience with at least one compiled language (C, C++, C#, Golang, Rust, etc.) in a professional setting.
Experience in building and debugging data-rich applications is necessary.
Familiarity with AWS, S3, and Athena is required.
Strong listening and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn and improve.
