Remote Senior Front End Developer

Description:

• Waterplan, a Climate Tech startup, is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to shape the user experience of their B2B Enterprise SaaS platform.
• The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality, responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Responsibilities include implementing front-end components using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, collaborating with UX/UI designers, optimizing web applications for speed and scalability, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, writing clean and testable code, mentoring junior developers, and staying updated on industry trends.
• The ideal candidate must have a proactive and collaborative mindset, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, at least 5 years of front-end development experience, proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, expertise in modern front-end frameworks, experience with version control systems, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and a passion for sustainability.
• Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with back-end technologies, knowledge of web performance optimization, experience in Climate Tech or environmental industry, and experience with design systems and UI libraries.
• The position is remote with flexibility for occasional in-person meetings.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong expertise in modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js using Typescript.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with pre-processors like SASS or LESS, and CSS-in-JS libraries.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
