Description:
Bloomreach is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join their team, which is currently composed of thirteen members.
The role involves building a large-scale and fast-evolving application using Angular and TypeScript.
The candidate will work on designing and developing new features, maintaining existing features, and prototyping new features as proofs of concept (POCs).
The tech stack includes Typescript, Javascript, Angular, SCSS/CSS, NodeJS, RxJS, Karma/Jasmine/Cypress, and GIT.
The team operates in 6-week cycles, focusing on project delivery, backlog tasks, and product improvements.
The position offers a salary starting from €3,300 per month, with restricted stock units and other benefits included.
The role can be performed remotely or from one of the Central Europe offices on a full-time basis.
Requirements:
Candidates must have advanced skills in TypeScript or JavaScript with a strong willingness to switch to TypeScript.
Advanced knowledge of Angular or a similar component-based framework with a strong willingness to switch to Angular is required.
Experience with software design and architecture is essential, including the ability to propose and implement effective solutions based on problem definitions without detailed instructions.
The candidate should be able to work effectively in project teams, demonstrating reliability and clear communication.
A “can-do” attitude is a must.
Experience with developing larger projects is preferred.
At least intermediate skills in SCSS/CSS are required to ensure reasonable quality in styling tasks.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, or Cypress is preferred.
Familiarity with RxJS is also preferred.
Experience in mentoring less experienced colleagues is a nice-to-have.
