Remote Senior Front-End / Full-Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Hyperscience is seeking a Senior Front-End or Full-Stack Engineer to join the Platform Engine team and enhance the Flows-related UX.
• The role involves collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and various engineers, including Back-end, Machine Learning, DevOps, and QA engineers.
• Responsibilities include creatively solving technical challenges, designing and delivering scalable UI features, ensuring product and code quality through automated tests and code reviews, and mentoring less experienced engineers.
• The position offers opportunities for learning and growth within a human-centered automation approach.
• Within the first 30 days, the engineer will familiarize themselves with the codebase, technology stack, and development processes, making significant contributions to the product.
• In the long term, the engineer will take ownership of features, actively participate in discussions, and contribute to the team's success.

Requirements:

• Strong common sense, logical thinking, and a solid computer science background are essential for this role.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication skills are required for daily interactions with colleagues in the USA and the UK.
• Proficiency in a modern JavaScript framework, specifically React, and experience with Typescript are necessary.
• Solid command of CSS, particularly PostCSS, is expected.
• Willingness to work across the full-stack is encouraged, with previous experience in Back-end technologies like Python, Django, and relational databases considered a plus.
