Remote Senior Frontend / Backend Engineer

Description:

• The company Oppizi is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Frontend/Backend Engineer to join their Tech Team.
• This is a full-time remote position open to candidates in Europe.
• The work schedule is Monday to Friday with fixed hours from 09:00 to 18:00.
• The team consists of 12 Software Engineers, 3 AQA Engineers, 6 MQA Engineers, QA Lead, 2 UI/UX Designers, 3 Product Managers, Head of Product, and CTO.
• The team is divided into 4 groups: Oppizi Ads (PMF team), Expansion (adapting new technology to new countries), Core (legacy technology), and Wild Duck (innovation team).
• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Developer/Full-stack Engineer.
• Responsibilities include using modern technologies, collaborating with teams, building testable code, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical guidance.
• The position involves working with Web Platform, API, and Mobile App environments.
• The role requires maintaining and improving platforms built with React.Js, Node.Js, and React-Native.
• The company emphasizes communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement in software engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ECMAScript 6 standards.
• 5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js and React.
• 7+ years of commercial experience in web development.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, TDD principles, microservice architecture, and clean architecture principles.
• Proficiency in GIT version control system, RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, and TypeScript.
• Upper Intermediate level of English.
• Excellent communication skills, extensive experience in JavaScript, testing, and ability to learn new tools and languages efficiently.
